Competition Rules:

Have fun. The sole purpose of this race is for the participants to have a good time and in the spirit of that we expect sportsmanship at all times.

In order to qualify to win the race or your age group, you will have to complete the race in the fastest times in either your category or overall.

No drafting in the cycling portion please, again this falls in the sportsmanship category. For your own safety and that of the participants around you, please do not draft another cyclist.

Wet suits will be legal.

Transfers:

If you are unable to race, your registration cannot be sold or transferred to another person.

DO NO transfer your number to any other athlete or take a number from anyone.

Timing Chip Return:

This event will be professionally timed by Gulf Sport Timing. Athletes HAVE to wear a timing chip during the entire event to be counted as part of the competition. All timing chips MUST be returned following the event. Any chips not returned will incur a $40.00 fee.

Refunds:

There will be no refunds, no exceptions.

Weather Policy:

Safety is our primary concern. Should thunderstorms arise our plan is to delay the start of the race until it is possible to complete it safely. There is no alternate “make-up” date in the event of a thunderstorm that encompasses the entire day. Rain alone will not cancel the race.
